Alia Bhatt's latest film 'Jigra' underperformed at the box office on opening day, facing tough competition from 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Rana's Jigra opened in the range of Rs 4 crore nett in India. The film is a prison-break thriller and Dussehra is now expected to help grow the business on Saturday and Sunday.
