An international crew of four astronauts launched toward the International Space Station from Florida on Friday aboard a SpaceX rocket, embarking on a routine NASA mission that could be the first of many to last a couple months longer than usual.

SpaceX launched the Crew-11 on Aug. 1, sending four astronauts to the International Space Station on the record-breaking sixth flight of its Crew Dragon Endeavour spacecraft.

SpaceX delivered a fresh crew to the International Space Station on Saturday, making the trip in a quick 15 hours. The four U.S., Russian and Japanese astronauts pulled up in their SpaceX capsule after launching from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
