Indiana officials are investigating reports of drone activity at farms affected by bird flu outbreaks. In some cases, people have tried to shoot the drones, and the aircraft may be spreading the bird flu virus.

Indiana’s State Board of Animal Health is reporting that another flock of birds has been hit with bird flu, resulting in the mass termination of the animals.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS), along with federal and local officials, is investigating an increased drone presence in the state.
