Authorities in Los Angeles have arrested a man accused of shooting the driver charged with ramming his vehicle into a crowd outside a Hollywood nightclub last month, injuring dozens of people.

The arrest comes more than two weeks after what police called the "chaotic" incident outside the music venue The Vermont in East Hollywood.

A 28-year-old man wanted for shooting a driver accused of plowing into a crowd of pedestrians in East Hollywood was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 3, in Redondo Beach. Efrain Villalobos of Lawndale was arrested after investigators determined he could be living in Redondo Beach. He was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and being held without bail.
