The mortal remains of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have reached Nigambodh Ghat. Prime Minister Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah are present to pay their respects.

President Droupadi Murmu expressed her condolences on the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who passed away on Thursday evening. She said that Dr Singh made critical contributions to reforming the Indian economy and will be remembered for his service to the nation.

President Droupadi Murmu on Friday paid her last respects to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence in Delhi. During her visit, she offered condolences to his family members.
