Ryan Conwell scored a game-high 22 points, Marcus Foster added 14 points and six rebounds as host Xavier thrashed Seton Hall 94-72 to pick up its first Big East Conference

After Seton Hall grabbed an early 5-0 lead, Conwell scored eight points over Xavier's ensuing 16-0 run. His floater in the lane beat the first-half buzzer and gave him a game-high 18 at the intermission with Xavier leading 44-31.

Xavier won a pair of thrillers over Georgetown last season by a combined six points. The two will meet Friday night in Washington, D.C.
