A SEPTA police officer charged with assault during civil unrest in 2020 has been sentenced to probation after being convicted by a jury in May of simple assault and reckless endangerment.

A suspect is wanted in a shooting that left a teenage girl injured at a SEPTA subway station on Temple University's campus in North Philadelphia on Tuesday, police said.
