Outstanding museum. Worth the effort to stop. Great display on Bees in the bottom floor as well. Parking in the car park or alongside the road and walk to the property through beautiful gardens.Full review by lisasos

It depends on yourself. I would recommend at least 1 1/2 hours just to see around the exhibits, then if you want to browse the gift shop and visit tea rooms add at least another hour. Allow yourself plenty of time, you will find it very interesting.

Yes they should enjoy it, if its a fine day bring a picnic, the grounds are lovely

Yes it is interesting to a wide age range but some of the exhibits are of particular interest even to small children. Also the grounds are lovely and they can run around
