I guess this is the tallest building in town. It sits in downtown and is notable as it rises above the other skyscrapers. I found the architectural design to be ordinary. Full review by Thomas V

The observation desk has been closed to the public. Search the internet for “Where are all of Houston’s Observation Decks” to read the Houston Chronicle article about it closing.

There are a couple of parking places that charge about $10-$15 for 2-3 hours near the tower. I usually have lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse, leave my car there (which they charge about $6 to park there) and then walk to Chase Tower. You get to look at the cool buildings, restaurants & bars on your way to the skyscraper. Hope this helps!
Is the elevator enclosed? I'm afraid of heights. We might be flying to Houston in May 2016. I'd like to go up to the lobby with my family & let them walk over to the windows, while I hang back - but am worried about glass elevator. Thanks, Kathy

Yes, the elevators are enclosed . This is also the elevators for employees returning, coming or going to work.
