This can be tricky. As I recall it is supposed to be open Sunday to Thursday and Saturday but closed Fridays. Nevertheless, there have been times when I went during "opening hours" and it was closed. So, the answer is "yes" it is supposed to be open Saturday but don't be surprised if it is closed. If there is any tension or hint of trouble around Damascus Gate, the cave closes.

There is no parking near the caves, but small parking around the damascas gate around 5-8 mins walk
