Last year we did the Lost Canyon Nature Trail in the carts. I wanted to walk around and see the restaurants and the beautiful grounds. They said I had to buy the museum ticket to see anything else. I would like to see more but it isn't clear what you need.

I was staying at Big Cedar and I'm really not sure what you want to see. I'm pretty certain that you don't have to have a museum ticket to get into Arnie's Barn restaurant, the "fine dining" restaurant, or see the firing of the cannon at the day's end, but you do have to pay a $10 valet parking fee at the Top of the Rock if you don't take the golf cart drive up there. The museum was great, but if you want to see a FREE, world class museum, go over to Bentonville Arkansas to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art! It is truly spectacular and both inside and outside.
