Hi, the air quality was ok (we went there via Delhi which was a lot worse), but I have relatives who live there and say that the air quality has worsened since our visit. At the time we could detect some smoke in the air, but nowhere near enough to warrant any real concerns. We then went to the Blue Mountains and on to Brisbane where there didn't seem to be any issues.
