Had a good guide who showed me the museum and explained the history of what we saw. Was very good. Museum is a landmark of Windhoek and has a restaurant on top with great views of the city.Full review by Thomas K

I think it closes early afternoon! Not sure that it opens on a Sunday. Sorry it was a while ago.

One of the problems with the TripAdvisor site is the constant confusion of the independence memorial museum with the nearby national museum --- these are two different museums!
