Definitely, we took ours with us all over Jedburgh and he thoroughly enjoyed roaming around the abbey, Jedburgh is a very pet friendly place we found. A lot of the cafes let dogs in too which was good.
The Abbey is in the centre of the town near some lovely cafes and shops. It is an easy walk to get there. If coming from outskirts public transport will be available.
