Hi! I would like to visit La Sila in June. I wonder if there is a convenient bus connection from south e.g. Lamezia Terme to any place with easy access to nice walks, lakes etc.? Is it possible to use Ferrovie della Calabria places worth seeing? Could Rogliano be the base of the visit or would Camigliatello Silano be a better choice? Any accommodation to be recommended? I appreciate any information :)

Hi Can't help you because we had a rented car but I would get in touch with the park services. We stayed in Camigliatello at the SILA HOTEL. This is a small town but has places to eat and stores to browse in and locals to meet. There is also a park center where there is a trail that explains in Italian and English about the local vegetation. Good Luck
