A famous local figure, and a non-controversial one at that. Born and educated in Penzance. Known for inventing the Miners Helmet but was also a Chemist and head of the Royal Society. Full review by Albywon

Sir Humphry Davy's vital work in the early 1800 on safety in Cornish, ( and worldwide) mines is commemorated by this larger than life statue. But that is part of a problem, as the statue is up high … Full review by Cherriesfan99
