Amazing review of automotive industry evolution, not focusing only on Italian manufacturers. Many interactive activities. Stunning architecture. Not that much of prototypes and latest cars on stands. Full review by DoniBarca

Good answer, Federico! The only thing I'd add is go from Florence to Turin's Porta Nova station, and directly from there on the subway to Lingotto station, which is about a 20 minute walk from MAUTO. Explore the rest of Turin after you see the cars. Definitely doable in a day - but worth at least 3 or 4! And, if you've never been to Genoa, this trip would be a good way to see it and its excellent maritime museum, Galata Museo del Mare, the seagoing version of MAUTO, on the way coming or going.
