Aug 29, 2022 · PS4 had a pro version 3 years after release, and the Xbox One had the One X after 4 years. We're already almost 2 years into the current gaming cycle, so if it took 4 more years to see an Xbox Series X Pro, then that would be vertiually at the end of it's expected life cycle - which wouldn't really make sense imo.

Most rumors point to the release of a discless Series X this fall, possibly with a 2TB internal storage card and updated wifi, but otherwise identical specs to the existing series X. Nope. Series X is also the "pro" version of the Xbox Series, so adding an additional one next to it seems useless and even more confusing for the average consumer. On the last gen you could maybe see a point in getting 4K in there, but this gen, I really don't see any reason.

Jul 27, 2022 · All PS4 and PSVR. The verdict is: the Xbox is slightly more powerful on paper. However, the differences really are minimal in practice. As you can see, they are hardware wise basically the same exact things. The Xbox cpu is clocked a little higher, the PS5 has a little more memory and the Xbox has a little more graphical power.
